Turn on the light!
On Sunday at church, I heard a wonderful sermon. The Pastor said: God is 100% light. It got me thinking...
I John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." Imagine that, no darkness in him at all. None whatsoever.
Jesus said he was the light of the world.
John 8:12: "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
John 3:19 " And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, let his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought from God.
Jesus also said that we are the light of the world.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
The same light that is Jesus is in us. " because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17.
Go shine and turn on the light wherever you go!

He is all light. We are like him so we are all light. Our role is shine that light as we live. Awesome.
Good teaching - lots of light (illumination) on this word.
