Perfect Peace
Last night and this morning the Lord began to speak to me about Peace.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. I noticed it said perfect peace, not just peace. I looked up the word perfect in Dictionary.com. One of the synonyms is "out of this world".
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Wow! Jesus gives us peace that is out of this world!
In Isaiah 9:6 Jesus is called the Prince of Peace.
Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
So if we are to be peacemakers, we are to take the peace that is out of this world and bring it to others. That sounds like bringing heaven to earth!
